The UNIFY-FIT Boot Camp is next best thing to private training. Experience the benefits of working with experience Instructors in a fun, non-intimidating, small group environment alongside your best friend or a new friend. No prior Self-Defense or Fitness experience is necessary:
The Boot Camp is structured to accommodate true beginners as well as more advanced participants. You'll use your whole body - you'll feel and flex all muscles - to burn fat, strengthen your core, and increase your endurance and flexibility!
The UNIFY-FIT Boot Camp is open to men, women and children of all ages, all fitness levels.
The UNIFY-FIT Boot Camp integrates strength training, plyometrics, sprint work, conditioning and coordination skill work, along with bag and pad work with a qualified instructor.
The Self-Defense segment of the Boot Camp will combine sport, science and art. As your flexibility, physical strength, coordination and stamina develop; participants will also notice a decrease in body fat, an increase in muscle and an overall improved sense of well-being.
Need to drop a few pounds?
Obesity and diabetes is a common problem in our society today with adults and especially adolescents. Unfortunately, too many people fail to confront the risks posed by being overweight. If you want to do something about it, The UNIFY-FIT Boot Camp will help.
I will help you understand nutritional needs and how combining sensible eating with safe and effective workouts can reveal your true Fitness potential.
Got Functionality?
Research shows that the addition of functional movements into your exercise plan is one of the most productive changes you can make for better overall fitness and good health. Traditional weightlifting exercises generally target only one muscle at a time. Functional training is what we’re about, and targeting more than one body part with each movement or exercise is what we aim for.
Functional training benefits include:
• More "inner strength".
• Increased endurance.
• Better balance.
• Extended range of motion.
Want to be Stronger?
Everyone wins with strength training.
Here are a few reasons why strength training is beneficial for you:
• Increases your metabolism.
• Reduces body fat: The more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn at rest.
• Increases bone mineral density: Strength training helps protect against fractures and osteoporosis.

VANITY?
If vanity is an essential tool in the workplace, it can be a lifesaver in the area of health. A fit body isn't only pleasing to the eye; it leads to descreased blood pressure, a reduced risk of some cancers, less chance of a stroke, improved immune function and increased energy. Visceral fat - the dreaded potbelly - has been called the most powerful predictor of liver disease, diabetes and a range of other ills.

How will drinking alcohol affect your diet?
Alcohol is not as bad as you may think, as long as you keep in moderation, as research shows those who are moderate drinkers do NOT gain as much weight over the years as those who abstain. In fact, hard liqour and wine offer certain health benefits. Alcohol itself doesn't get converted into BODYFAT; however, excessive alcohol can alter the biochemistry of the body to make FAT storage easier. So in basic, try to keep it to a glass or two of alcohol once or twice a week if your looking for a lean look.

Will eating FAT make you FAT?
Not if you are eating trhe right kind of FAT. Fat is an energy source, just as carbs and protien are. But fats also perform important functions in the body. They are used to make up cell membranes, such as those that encase muscle cells. The essential fats - the Omega-3s and Omega-6s - are used in the body to make critical chemical messengers known as prostaglands. These are important for joint and muscle recovery, as well as numerous other important functions. Now we know that the Omega-3 fats also activate genes that encourage FAT BURNING and BLUNT FAT STORAGE. 20 to 30 % precent of your toatal daily calories intake should come from FAT.
Keep in mind that 1gram of FAT has 9 calories.

DRIINKING MORE WATER PROMOTE FAT LOSS?
Recent nutritional guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture advise people to drink water when they are thirsty. Research does not support previous recommendations that people should drink at least 8-ounces of water per day.
French researchers speculated that increasing cell water levels promotes Fat Loss. Increased water intake inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which helps control blood pressure and thirst. In animal studies, inhibiting ACE led to increased water intake and Fat Loss. Drugs called ACE-inhibitors combined with increased fluid intake might contribute to weight loss.
